We were driving around this weekend, when I told Lilly we would take her to the giant candy store. (Why? I have no idea. Just because.) We drove to a local mall and let Lilly run wild. She's never been inside a candy store and she couldn't believe that there was an entire room full of candy. She kept walking around in circles, eyes wide open, pointing at everything. It was pretty magical.
Anyway, while we there, I spotted some giant rainbow lollipops on a display in the window and it hit me: Photo shoot! I bought a couple lollipops and called one of my pals to make plans. We decided to meet up at this little lake by my place the next day.
We got off to a late start and the girls were more interested in watering plants than they were in posing for pictures. Oh, well. I still managed to get some decent practice.
Lilly loved her "ice cream"... and Addie kept trying to steal a taste. It was pretty hot, so we didn't stay out very long. Plus, these crazy ducks/geese were giving me the creeps.

There were so many of them and the second we arrived, they came running our way, looking for some grub. Of course, Addie was mesmerized. She always is.
Here's hoping we can squeeze in some more practice this summer. Maybe next time we'll have real ice cream.
