12. Drink root beer floats.
You may have noticed that we don't really have any major plans this Summer. (Nope. No cross-country road trips for us.) When we compiled our list, we decided to keep things fairly simple and relatively easy to accomplish. So far, so good.
The best part of this whole Summer adventure is getting to treasure all of these little moments with my family. We're introducing our girls to so many new, fun things and I love that I'm able to document every moment, as small as they may seem.
I mean, most people would probably see Root Beer Floats on the agenda and think, Yeah, wow. Big deal. I drink Root Beer Floats for breakfast. But to Lilly, Root Beer Floats are a big deal! Huge, even! When I explained that we actually get to drink soda and ice cream together, she was ecstatic.
We made our floats last weekend. Lilly loved lending me a hand... oh, and keeping Little Sister in check.
Yes, we had to let Addie take a sip. Hold your judgment, please.
Lilly was in a great mood... until I announced my plan to get a group picture. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Two-year-olds are ticking timebombs, always on the verge of having a mental breakdown. (Heed my warning, those without kids!)
Craziness aside, Operation Root Beer Float was awesome. Lilly polished off every last drop. She kept walking around the house, taking sips from every cup and saying, "Yummy in my tummy! What's this called, Mama? It's pretty good!"

You are so awesome for documenting all this adorableness.
